Provincial Head pays a visit to HDC

On the afternoon of September 14th, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Van Nhi pays a visit to HDC (in My Phuoc Town, Ben Cat District). There are also some other provincial leaderships of DOLISA, DET, People’s Committee of Ben Cat District and local authorities.

 

 

Huong Duong Patronage Center for Orphan and Disabled Children (HDC)

HDC was founded by Mr Nguyen The Vinh (also called the guitarist The Vinh) and officially open on September 25th 2010. At present, this centre is home to 43 children from provinces throughout the country such as  Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Biình Thuan, Lam Đong, Binh Duong… In the last university admission examination for the academic year 2011-2012, there are 16 students taking the exam, 10 of them pass into their first selections of universities, other 2 pass into colleges and the 4 rest pass into their second selections.

Student Nguyen Thi Lien (from Thanh Hoa Province, with 2 disabled legs) has a dream to obtain a degree in IT.

In his talk at the meeting, Vice Chairman Huynh Van Nhi highly appreciates the achievements gained by the centre during the past time, especially the stuents with passed university results. He believes that they will overcome their difficulties, do best in their studies and become useful people in the society.

Vice Chairman requests the government authorities and People’s Committee of Ben Cat District to solve HDC’s difficulties and support its students with access to education from local schools.

On behalf of the provincial head, Vice Chairman Huynh Van Nhi donates 10 million dong to the centre for taking care of the students.
